Herdsmen Invade Imo Community, Shoot Sporadically

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have reportedly Obokofia, in Ohaji/Egbema local government area of Imo state, southeast Nigeria.

A report by Vanguard newspaper quoted a source to have said that the community had asked the herdsmen to stop grazing on their farmlands and that their cattle are destroying their crops.

Golden News Now learned the herdsmen started shooting sporadically in a bid to scare away members of the community from forcing them out of the area.

Meanwhile, no life was lost as at the time of filing this report, but farmers working in the area at the time the incident happened ran away for safety.
